34 Week Appointment

Today, we had a great appointment! Baby A measured 4lbs. 11 oz. and Baby B measured 4 lbs. 8 oz.! The boys were both actively working their diaphragms and getting their lungs in shape for life outside the womb. The ultrasound tech said that it was good to see this from our boys at this point since it takes boys a little longer than girls to have mature lungs. We were also surprised to see that both boys are head down again!!! We know there's still a possibility that they could move again, but we are so thankful they moved this time. Maybe they'll stay in these positions until birth.

This is Baby A with his pouty lips and round cheeks! His umbilical cord is laying across the bridge of his nose, so his eyes and nose are somewhat distorted by that in this picture.

This is also Baby A with his fist up over his eye. His umbilical cord is now across his lips and chin in this picture.

This is a profile picture of Baby B. His legs were up in front of his face (and he's facing my back) so it made it difficult to get good 3D pictures this time.

This is the one 3D we were able to get of Baby B. In the bottom center of the picture, you can see he's sticking his tongue out at us!

Next appointment: Thursday, August 21st
