Both boys are becoming more clear as they talk. Just this weekend, Eli started emphasizing the "k" sound in "booo-k" instead of a "t" sound at the end. Micah loves to say "water" and points out fountains and ponds everywhere we go.
Not only are they talking more, but they also understand so much more. They are very good at cleaning up when we ask them to. They actually know where things go and put them there! They love picking up "yuck" and "trash" to put it in the trash can.
Edited to add: Eli and Micah both enjoy pointing out and naming colors. They are pretty accurate with blue, red, purple and green. Micah will sometimes name white or gray. Micah's favorite colors are red and blue. Eli likes blue and purple. They have also been working on naming shapes. Both boys have successfully mastered our shape sorter. It's not part of our shape sorter, but "aquadon" (octagon) is still their favorite shape! They have even spotted octagons that aren't red or stop signs!
Since it's been so warm, we have spent more time outside. This
week,we found a caterpillar. Here it is on Micah's arm. Eli wasn't
sure about it and didn't want it on his arm.

Eli quickly warmed up to the caterpillar. Here he is carrying it
to me. (Shortly after this picture was taken, we had to let Mr.
Caterpillar go on his way as Eli was rubbing it between his thumb
and index finger. Oops!)
