Why do we love our daddy?
1. Daddy teaches us valuable life skills.
Micah was trying to "stab" the strawberry with the fork while holding it in his hand then asked Daddy for help. Daddy said, "Put it on the table so I can help you." Every strawberry after, Micah picked one out of his bowl, put it on the table, then stabbed it with a fork.

2. Daddy finds our favorite music videos on YouTube.
Here, Micah's watching "Baby Beluga." Paul was learning to play "Baby Beluga" on the guitar, which has been much requested since!
3. Daddy makes pancakes for us and even shares the batter!

4. Daddy is concerned about our safety.
After "allowing Micah to explore" and "learn a valuable life
skill" (AKA climb the toy shelf), Paul made this step stool for
the boys so they can reach the books on the top of the toy
shelf all by themselves!

5. Daddy wears sunglasses.
Paul has shared his sunglasses with Eli so much, it was time for Eli to have his very own pair!
There are so many reasons the boys love their Daddy--too many to list here. Really, any thing he does is fascinating and wonderful to them. It's fun to see their eyes light up when they hear the front door opening when Paul comes home. It's sweet to see them imitate everything Paul says and does. Eli and Micah adore their Daddy so much--and it's clear the feeling is mutual! Happy Father's Day!
