This Week's Favorites

Every week it seems the boys have a new interest. Something they have discovered they can do or say. It becomes the focus of most of their attention. Here are a few from this week.

They love being outside--that hasn't really changed. They enjoy picking up sticks, rocks, leaves, bark, bird seed, or anything else they can find. This week they found something else in the back yard, but we can only see it from inside....

(It really does take the squirrel around in a full
circle if it holds on that long--this one is
smart and doesn't usually go for the full ride!)

Micah (left) and Eli (right) both enjoy stacking the blocks.
This is fun mostly because it's a new skill.

And our favorite word...

Micah's on the left, Eli is on the right. The nice librarian showed me where to find the non-fiction section of books about butterflies. We found these two books (there are easily 10 more). I was nervous about taking these home since they're not board books, but the boys are doing very well with them.
