Still Training, but Having Fun!

Nothing too exciting to report from our house. We're still working on potty training. The boys are almost accident-free during the day when we're at home. Neither one of them is thrilled about using a potty other than ours at home. They even held it last Sunday for over 5 hours, just waiting until we came home! Eli and Micah are still working on staying dry at night. We've had several successful nights by one or both boys, but I've also washed many sheets. I'm hoping my laundry load will decrease soon!

Last week we got a book from the library in which the characters build a tent using chairs and blankets. We thought we could make one, too!

As a prize for staying dry all night, the boys and I made chocolate chip cookies together! 

They really enjoyed their cookies!

We painted some valentines this week for our friends and favorite librarian! 

This week, both boys have earned scissors as part of the ongoing potty training process. (Saving money on diapers is costing me on toys and other prizes--yikes!) Right now, both boys favor their right hands. I wonder if that will last.

Thanks to their Daddy, Eli and Micah now have their own Mii's on our Wii.

You know it's cold in Texas, when both cats volunteer to be this close to one another almost all week! We are all looking forward to some warmer temps this weekend and praying for spring to come soon!
