1 month

Joshua is growing so fast. At his 3 week appointment, he was already over 8 lbs! His Dr. is pleased with his growth and will see him again at 2 months for his first round of shots.

At one month, Joshua...

• is starting to focus on people looking at him, especially his brothers.
• smiles as he drifts off to sleep.
• often moans and "talks" in his sleep.
• sleeps well and often, only getting up once all night.
• can't sleep without being swaddled. 
• is content and pleasant when he's awake--especially since we've learned he cannot tolerate dairy products or eggs in his diet.

Joshua has been exploring the play mat with the help of his brothers when he's awake. Eli and Micah are such great big brothers. They are sweet to Joshua and curious about everything I do with him. They love every opportunity to show Joshua something new!

Micah shows him how to swing the parrot.

 Eli shows him how to pull on the elephant.

Micah and Eli already like "reading" to Joshua.
