The creative bug

The creative bug has bit the Cheney house!

Eli and Micah love to use their bath crayons and markers to make art all over the walls in the bathroom. They often request that Paul and I join in the fun--note the "micah-cytle" (i.e. motorcycle) by Micah's green crayon.

I made play-dough for Eli and Micah last week, but somehow I don't have any pictures of them playing with it. Anyway, they've played with it several times and really enjoy smashing it! Hopefully I'll get a video of them soon.

A friend came over last weekend and helped me make
these curtains for the boys' room. Remember the towel?
This is much better!
If you followed the link above and looked at the picture of the boys' room before, you'll notice the different furniture arrangement in the above picture. After we hung the curtains, we had to move Eli's bed--the curtains were too close and too tempting!

Here's a close-up of the Route 66 curtains in the boys' room.

After watching Paul paint yesterday, the boys really wanted
to help paint the walls. Nana suggested this activity instead.
It was a huge hit!
