Oops!

I forgot one very important thing that happened last week--Eli and Micah's two-year check-up! Both boys did great and are growing fast. Eli is now 36 inches tall and weighs 29 lbs. Micah is 35.5 inches tall and 27.4 lbs. This puts them both in the 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight.

Both boys had to get one shot, which they took very well with just a few tears. After the Dr's appointment, we made a quick trip over to the hospital for a blood draw for Micah. (I had asked the Dr. about some leg pains Micah has frequently and she ordered some blood tests.) Micah was very brave and Eli waited so patiently. The Dr. called later that afternoon to let us know that everything looked just fine. We assume they are just some growing pains.

After all of that, I took Eli and Micah to Chick-fil-A for a quick lunch before heading home. About 5 people stopped to say how good our boys were! They were eating lunch quietly and were very polite to everyone who stopped. I was so proud of them!

Oh, and one more thing...

Last night was the first night Eli (left) and Micah (right) slept in their big boy beds! Actually, their cribs convert to this day bed position. They did great with it and each only woke up once during the night.

By the way, they do have their own beds. Eli woke up early this morning. I went to get him and Micah slept for another 45 minutes. The second Micah made a sound, Eli said, "Micah awake" and ran to the bedroom to get him. Eli quickly climbed onto Micah's bed and they both started playing. Silly boys!
