Apples, Ashes & Maybe

Oh my! It has been a busy couple of weeks at our house! I had a huge bag of apples waiting to be prepared for apple chips. A friend let us borrow her apple corer/peeler/slicer which made this task so much easier! The boys had a great time helping and eating the apple chips the next day.

Last Thursday, I had a doctor's appointment at 10 AM. 

At 9:10 AM, I found the boys like this:

 While I was inside packing a bag of toys, they dug in the fire pit full of ashes. They had a great time and were covered head to toe in ashes. We quickly went inside and took a bath before heading to the appointment. We were even on time!

The boys' favorite part of the week was the time we got to spend with Grandma and Grandpa Cheney's dog, Maybe. They LOVE her! The three of them are very silly together. Maybe runs, the boys laugh. Maybe chases toys, the boys laugh. Maybe climbs the yellow slide, the boys fall down laughing! We said goodbye to her today, but I guess she'll be back again soon. The boys were already looking for her tonight before bed.
