Singing & Halloween

When you see Eli and Micah in person, you may not know they can talk. They are both pretty shy. At home, they talk from the moment they get up to the time they fall asleep at night. They have a pretty large vocabulary for 2 year olds and have started speaking in full sentences ("I can't see it." "I like the blue one." "Where is the football?").

They also love to sing! Here they are singing B-I-B-L-E. In case you're unfamiliar with the song, it goes: The B-I-B-L-E, yes, that's the book for me. I stand alone on the Word of God. The B-I-B-L-E. At the beginning of the video, you'll hear Eli (on left) singing "yes, that's the book a me" then you'll hear Micah join in.

Besides talking and singing, we've had a lot of fun exploring all that is fall!  When we were at the park recently, the boys noticed leaves falling from trees. (Remember we have no trees at our new house.) We picked up some of the leaves, brought them home and made these leaf collages!

One morning while I was making apple chips, Micah swiped an apple and took a huge bite! Eli wanted one, too! This is one of their favorite snacks right now.

At the library a couple of weeks ago, we made these spider hats. This is the closest thing to a costume we were able to get the boys to wear this year.

On Halloween night, Micah (left) and Eli (right) had a great time handing out pretzels to all of the kids who stopped by. They refused to wear their puppy costumes (even though they chose the costumes themselves and carry them around the house a lot).  Oh, well! Maybe next year!

The B-i-b-l-e video is super cute. Ian keeps saying, "More! More!" :)
