We haven't flown with the boys in two years! They weren't sure about it at first, but when we got off in Vegas, they were ready to ride a plane again!
Here's Eli so excited to be by the window!
Micah sat next to Paul in the row behind Eli and me. Micah slept most of the trip, but quietly enjoyed the rest of the flight after he woke up.
The cousins (and Paul) got to play with play dough.
Early the next morning, the boys were up and ready to play outside--Vegas mornings are beautiful and comfortable. Eli and Micah gave the trampoline a try! Micah loved it, but Eli wasn't so sure.
After breakfast we headed to a splash pad. Unfortunately, it was a little colder than the boys were used to. They got wet this once and stayed in their towels most of the time we were there.
That afternoon, we took a trip down to Bass Pro Shop. The kids enjoyed looking at the animals. Eli decided he wanted to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow "when I get bigger."
Here are the cousins-Britton, Kaelyn, Micah & Eli
Eli, Paul & Britton
Aunt Rebecca, Micah, Britton & Kaelyn
We visited another park to see cousin Britton ride her bike. While she wasn't riding it, the boys had a great time testing it out!
Then, we went swimming that afternoon. This was the boys' favorite pool toy.
We visited a natural history museum and Eli pretended to be a marine biologist.
Micah enjoyed this "walk in" aquarium.
Eli and Micah loved making "soup" with their big cousin, Britton. I think they played out there for an hour before I had them come in because it was so hot!
On our last day in Vegas, we visited a couple of ponies and horses. Eli (in green) and Micah (in maroon) loved feeding carrots to the horses the best.
Both boys got a chance to sit on the horse, Angel. The could have ridden her, but neither boy was excited about that idea.
Paul took a turn in the saddle, though!
That afternoon, the boys enjoyed playing golf in the "water hazard" in the backyard.
We left very early the next morning to head back to Dallas, then start our drive towards Kansas. The trip was uneventful and the boys are asking when we can get back on a plane again!
