Happy 3rd Birthday!

It's hard to believe our "babies" are already 3 years old! It has been fun watching them grow and mature this year.

Eli, you:
--like to be silly and laugh a lot!
--like sorting toys by color or character. (You especially liked green a few months ago.)
--like to watch/listen to VeggieTales movies, especially Silly Songs with Larry.
--know how to count to 10.
--can recognize and name most letters and numbers.
--like to read the same book over and over in a day.
--have an incredible memory for details.
--like to help Mom and Dad, especially cleaning, fixing things, or letting Buddy outside.
--like to direct the game when you're playing with Micah.
--love to pretend and have been known to have "wings" for arms.
--say, "You look like someone else's daddy" when you put your forehead on Daddy's.
--often request that we pray for "someone who's hurt" when passing any emergency vehicle.
--are curious about many things and have started asking,  "what does ______ mean?"

Micah, you:
--like to sing loudly, especially "Today is the Day" and the VeggieTales theme song.
--make up your own words to songs you know.
--don't like it when Momma tries to make up new words to songs and say, "That's not how it goes!"
--can recognize and name most letters and numbers.
--can count to 10.
--enjoy counting and regularly count objects in books or at meal times.
--enjoy looking for pictures in "I Spy" books and will say, "I'm good at this book!"
--are often cautious in new situations or with people you don't know.
--laugh a lot, especially at Eli.
--like to snuggle in bed with Mom and Dad first thing in the morning.
--love to play pretend with "baby Mario" in the new baby's room.
--are curious and have started asking "why" and "how" questions.
--often ask, "what was that sound?" and try to imitate many sounds you hear.
