38 Weeks

On this Thanksgiving day, we are now one week from welcoming #3 into the world! Yesterday, Paul and I got to see our little one on ultrasound. He was very still (surprising, actually!) and let the ultrasound tech take all of her measurements. It looks like he's growing well and they estimate that he is around 5 lb. 12 oz. My doctor is expecting he will be a little over 6 lb. at birth. Even though #3 was so still, we didn't get a lot of great pictures of him. He is head down and very squished!

I still have my head cold/sinus infection. It's annoying to me, but didn't think too much about it until my doctor seemed concerned about my cough. It's been lingering for almost 3 weeks and isn't getting better. Now, I'm on 4 different prescriptions to get everything cleared up. My doctor said that it is possible for labor and delivery to turn me away next Thursday morning if my cough is still hanging on. Technically, my c-section would be "elective" if I wasn't actually in labor and the coughing could interfere with administering the anesthesia. Since I want to be awake during the c-section and healthy afterward, we are praying this clears up quickly!

I will see my OB next Tuesday morning for my final appointment before delivery. I don't know if I'll have the time to update the blog after that. If I don't, please know that we will post pictures of #3 as soon as we can from the hospital. We know you all are anxious to meet him, too!
